Back to the scores

What this is

A results archive for South African schoolboy rugby.

Full Time records first-team results for roughly fifty tracked schools, going back to 2011. That is the whole product: what the score was, who played, and when. It is built for the way people actually use it — standing on a touchline on a Saturday, on a phone, wanting one number.

What it does not have, on purpose

No player names, profiles or team sheets. These are schoolchildren. Publishing a searchable, permanent record of named minors and their performances is not something a results site needs to do, and we are not going to do it.

No kickoff times. The times in the historical source data are not real — the same time appears on unrelated matches years apart. Rather than print a number that looks authoritative and is invented, we print no number.

First teams only. Younger age groups are not included.

How accurate is it?

Results are entered by hand from published sources, so mistakes are possible, and the further back you go the thinner the record gets. Where a match is missing a detail, the app leaves it blank rather than guessing. Nothing on the site is derived from a rating system or a projection — every table, streak and head-to-head is counted straight off the recorded results.

If you spot something wrong, it is worth telling us. There is no public submission form, deliberately: an archive is only worth anything if someone is accountable for what goes into it.

Following schools

You can follow schools to bring their weekend to the top of the home screen. That needs an account, which is the only thing an account is for — it means your schools travel with you between your phone and your laptop instead of being lost the next time you clear your browser.

Nothing else asks you to sign in. Every score, every school and every match link on this site is readable without an account, and that is not going to change. We hold your email address and your list of schools, and nothing else — see Privacy.
