Back to the scores

Cookie notice

A sign-in cookie if you have an account, and your own settings. Nothing that follows you anywhere.

There is no banner, and here is why

Full Time sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no Meta pixel, and nothing that reports what you read to anybody. The only things stored in your browser are the ones needed to do what you asked for: keep you signed in, and remember your own settings.

That is the category the law calls strictly necessary, and it is the category that does not need consent. A banner asking permission for it would be theatre.

The sign-in cookie

If you create an account, our authentication provider sets a cookie holding your session — that is what keeps you signed in between visits, and it is the only cookie on this site. Signed out, there is none. Signing out clears it, and so does clearing your browser data.

Everything else lives on your device

Your settings are kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, which means they are never sent to the server with a request. They are readable by this site and by nothing else, and clearing your browser data removes them. In full:

  • ft-spoilersWhether scores are hidden until tapped.
  • ft-oddsWhether match cards show who is favoured to win. Only written once you turn it on.
  • ft-followsThe schools you follow, kept here so a star paints before the account answers.
  • ft-favouriteWhich of them is yours.
  • ft-follows-claimedWhether this device's follows have been merged into your account.
  • ft-follow-intentA school you tapped follow on before signing in, so the tap is not lost.
  • ft-onboardedThat you have seen the welcome once.
  • ft-predict-skippedThat you skipped joining a league in Predict, so it is not asked again.
  • ft:predict-todoHow many picks you still owe, so the Predict badge shows straight away.
  • full-time-pagesCopies of the last 20 public pages you opened, shown only when there is no signal. Kept in the browser's cache storage, never sent anywhere, and cleared when you sign out.

The list of schools you follow is kept in two places on purpose: on your account, which is the real copy, and here, so a followed school is already marked in the first frame instead of after a round trip on a phone at a rugby field.

The offline cache

If you add Full Time to your home screen, a service worker stores the app’s own files — its layout, its fonts, its icons — so it opens without waiting for the network. It deliberately does not cache scores: a stale score on a Saturday afternoon is worse than a spinner.

Turning it off

Every browser can block or clear storage for a site, and this one keeps working if you do — you will be signed out and your settings go back to their defaults, which is the whole of the damage.

What is held on the account rather than in your browser is in the privacy policy. Questions: hello@fulltime.co.za.
