What this is

Full Time is a free archive of South African schoolboy rugby results — 1st XV matches, 2011–present. It is run privately. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated on behalf of any school, union, federation or competition organiser, and nothing on it is an official record.

Reading it costs nothing and needs no account. That is the deal and it is not going to change: every score, every school page and every shared match link works signed out.

The scores are collected, not official

Results are entered by hand from published sources. That means the archive is incomplete in places and wrong in others — a score typed the wrong way round, a match nobody published, a school whose name changed. It is offered as it is, with no warranty that any figure on it is accurate, complete or current.

Ratings, rankings and predictions are worked out from those same results by a published method. They are opinions produced by arithmetic, not statements of fact about how good a team is, and nothing here is advice of any kind — least of all a basis for betting. If a number matters to you, check it against the school.

Spotted something wrong? Tell us at hello@fulltime.co.za and it gets fixed. That is the whole correction process and it works.

Accounts

An account exists for one thing: following schools, so their results are waiting at the top of the home screen and stay with you when you change phone. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what is done through your account.

Use a real address you control, because it is the only way back into the account. You can delete the account at any time — see the privacy policy for how, and for exactly what is held.

An account can be suspended if it is used to attack the site, scrape it at volume, or get at other people’s data. In practice this has never had to happen.

Using the content

A rugby score is a fact, and facts are not anybody’s property. Quote them, screenshot them, argue about them in a group chat — that is what this is for, and the share buttons exist to make it easier.

What is asked in return: do not republish the archive wholesale as your own, and do not hammer the site with automated requests. School crests and badges belong to the schools, not to Full Time; they are shown to identify a team and any other use is between you and the school.

Availability

This is a small site run by one person. It may be slow, briefly down, or changed without notice, and features can be removed. No uptime is promised. To the extent the law allows, Full Time is not liable for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to.

Children

The archive deliberately holds no player names, no squad lists and nothing else identifying a schoolboy — only team results. An account needs an email address, so if you are under 18, ask a parent before creating one.

Changes

These terms can change as the site does. Any change appears on this page; continuing to use the site after one is how it is accepted. They are read under South African law.
